Mamma Mia! Here We Get Once more is a 2018 jukebox musical romantic comedy film written and directed past Ol Parker, from a story by Parker, Catherine Johnson, and Richard Curtis. It is a follow-upwardly to the 2008 movie Mamma Mia!, which in plough is based on the musical of the aforementioned name using the music of ABBA. In a flashback to 1979, a young Donna Sheridan graduates from Oxford's New College with Rosie and Tanya ("When I Kissed the Teacher"), and dreams of a Greek island named Kalokairi. Donna's mother, Ruby, is a famous singer; merely she has a strained relationship with her daughter and is consistently away on tour, and does not nourish the graduation. Fed up with her mother'south constant negligence and determined to spend her life making memories, Donna decided to travel to Kalokairi to find her destiny.

In the present, 5 years after the events of the first film, Sophie is in Kalokairi preparing for the grand reopening of the Hotel Bella Donna, in laurels of her recently deceased mother. Harry and Nib are unable to nourish due to overseas business organisation ventures and Sophie also feels estranged from her husband, Heaven, who's been offered a permanent job in New York ("I of Us").

In Paris, Donna meets the sweet but bad-mannered Harry Brilliant, who instantly falls in honey with her ("Waterloo"). They spend the night together, but Donna leaves before long later on for Greece. Bill's great-aunt Sofia overhears Donna's wish to stay on the isle and reveals she owns the abandoned farmhouse Donna has been staying in. Donna happily accepts her offer to stay in that location, where she eventually gives nativity to Sophie.

In the present, Sophie opens up to Rosie and Tanya nearly her conflict with Sky and Rosie explains to Sophie how she and Nib bankrupt upwards ("Angel Eyes"). Meanwhile, Pecker, Harry, and Sky go out their ventures away to back up Sophie just are told at that place are no boats to Kalokairi. Mamma Mia!
